Translation in its General Sense

 Translation in its general sense is the transfer of the language to another, it is not easy and not difficult, but the art of delivery of the general matter and easy delivery to the recipient is divided into two main parts:

• Word for Word Translation

It is the translation in which the translator is committed to the original text and strictly adheres to the words, and it is the worst type of translation.

• Sense for Sense Translation

In which the translator can change, delay and provide the phrases for the purpose of good formulation, and this type is common in the translation of novels, books, magazines and others.

There are other types as well:

• Interpretive translation in which the translator intervenes to explain and explain some of the vague words and phrases that appear in the original text.

• A summary translation in which the translator shortens the subject which he translates and presents in his own style.

• Interpreting requires the translator to have a very high level of proficiency in both languages and promptness , good behavior and is prepared directly for meetings and press conferencesn,interviews and important events.

And because of the tremendous boom in the field of information and communication, this has made it more difficult for the translator.The world has become small after that boom. Satellite channels, mobile phones and global information have led to rapid communication between people around the world with different cultures, civilizations and languages.

He became acquainted with everything that happens in the world of cultures, customs, character, occupations and developments in the countries of the world. A skilled translator is a person who seeks to develop his skills and knowledge and to know that he not only works as an interpreter, but as a vector of culture ,customs , languages, and thus represents his country.
